Additional Information and Limitations
Applicants are responsible for staffing the activity and providing their own materials. Are there any limitations to the activity due to cost of materials or number of volunteers? Can you only participate during certain hours of the event? Please provide any information that you think we will need.
Material Costs
The AAPI Commission, as part of the Office of Human Rights and Equity, is covering the cost of materials that can be ordered ahead of time. Please provide descriptions and quantities of materials, and optionally, a link to purchase them. Extra materials will be stored in the upcoming AAPI Cultural Center.

On behalf of my organization, I understand that Inner Arbor Trust may have professional photography and videography on site during the event. On behalf of my organization and/or myself, I grant permission to the Inner Arbor Trust, and their agents and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to reproduce the photographs and/or video images and/or recordings taken of me, my organization, and any performers associated with my organization for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, and cultural documentation, in any manner or in any medium. I hereby release the Inner Arbor Trust, and their officials, officers, employees, and legal representatives from all claims and liability relating to said images or video, without any compensation.

The 2025 AAPI Festival expects performers, parents, teachers, and others associated with the performers to conduct themselves in a manner that contributes to creating a positive experience for all performers and for our guests. Participants should maintain professionalism at all times - all performers, including children, are expected to meet the requirements of the venue for performer conduct. Common courtesy and respect are essential to the success of the 2025 AAPI Festival. Management expects all performers to behave professionally and understand that they are coordinating with hundreds of other performers and staff throughout the day and extend courtesies and cooperation with management as we coordinate performances. Performers agree to be timely, follow directions, stay quiet backstage, and adhere to safety standards. All organizations agree to require any parents, family, or guests of performers to maintain professionalism and courtesy.

Activity Guidelines

Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods is an outdoor venue. Please plan your activity and costuming accordingly as events will take place rain or shine.
Each participant in your group will need to sign a waiver in order to participate. These will be collected after approval of your participation.
Organizations are responsible for adhering to scheduled arrival, check in, and call times.
Please do not use glitter, confetti or any other material that will be left behind.
