Join Sip & Script® for a Night of Learning Calligraphy!
Join us on stage at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park in Columbia, Maryland for a night of drinks and pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! In the spirit of fall, we’ll learn how to use our modern calligraphy skills to letter on pumpkins, too! The perfect crafty night out!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration with Erin from ECLetters, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), your first drink, and all materials to write on! Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!
*Feel free to come early to check-in, grab your seat, and grab a drink (drinks available to order throughout class too!). Class will start promptly at 7:00 PM!
*All guests must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose while in line to enter, for the restroom, or concessions, but are not required at any other time.
*All guests will be asked to self-screen for signs of Covid-19 before entering, and guests must self-monitor and report any Covid-19 diagnosis within 14 days of attending an event. If you feel COVID 19 symptoms the day of class, we will gladly transfer you into another event if you email hello@sipandscript.com *before* the event. Please stay home if you are symptomatic.
