BALTIMORE FEST, A Music & Arts Festival assembles local artists with extraordinary skills ranging from but not limited to painters, dancers, singers, musicians, etc. As we know since the antediluvian eras, music has portrayed a significant role in the communities. Music as art was one of the earliest forms of communication and therefore music was not just inseparable from early communities but was integral to positive community relations till now. Following the impression, we initiated a platform to bring peace and harmony and showcase cultural diversity amongst those residing within the DMV.
As we all are witnesses of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has resulted in millions of confirmed cases & deaths globally. It has also caused an impending economic crisis and recession, social distancing, self-isolation, and halt to travel. But during that dark time, when everyone was isolating themselves to save their lives, we are all tremendously grateful to the people for serving on the frontlines of COVID-19 in essential services. This includes healthcare workers, first responders, grocery store clerks, gas station attendants, postal employees, delivery drivers, auto mechanics, and so many more. Not only are they ensuring we have essential care, supplies, and services, but they are often doing it while interacting with members of the public who could potentially make them ill.
To thank these essential workers during COVID-19 BALTIMORE FEST has initiated a Music & Art Festival as a dedication to gathering all nationalities and communities in the DMV area to bring everyone together and stand-in positive community relationships to pay an enormous honor to our SUPER HEROS, our very own First Responders & Healthcare Workers.
With that being said we’d be honored to invite you and/or your group to “Baltimore Fest, A Music & Arts Festival – A Tribute to the First Responders & Healthcare Workers” for a live performance on August 7th, 2021, at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Post in Columbia, MD. Hope you will join hands together with us to welcome these all-amazing people musically.
The event is scheduled as an “all-day event” and Our goal is to bring people from the local community together to give them inspiration and unity but most importantly to recognize those individuals who dedicated their lives daily over the past year to keep each one of us safe. Please note that we would not be paying any artist for the event as our event is not for profit and all proceeds collected during the festival will be donated to HUNGER FREE ZONE to support their cause, for further details please check their website www.hungerfreezone.org.
