Maryland Winds exists to bring world-class wind band music to the residents of Maryland, engage and assist music teachers and their students, and to provide an opportunity for professional musicians to dive deeply into great repertoire. Maryland Winds is a new ensemble of professional musicians in the greater Baltimore–Washington, DC, area who are current or past performers with major symphony orchestras, premier military bands, music educators, or active freelance musicians.
